Michael Kagan has for many years been involved with Inter-religious Environmentalism and Spiritual Ecology. He was cofounder of The Jewish Climate Initiative that published the HolyLand Declaration on Planetary Responsibilitythat has been presented to the Pope and many other religious leaders. He is the messenger of God’s Prayer that describes the tears of the Divine One as He/She witnesses the suffering of the planet due to the abuse by humankind and the ineffectiveness of religions to do what they are here to do. He is also the author of theHolistic Haggadah, The King’s Messenger, Beyond Time and Space (Poems), is the coproducer of two documentaries – The Tunnel of Hope and The Book of Curses and is an exhibited artist. In his spare time he is a high tech inventor and the CEO of an Israeli cannabis company. He is married to Rabbi Ruth Gan Kagan of the Nava Tehila community in Jerusalem. He was ordained by Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi as a Maggid (story teller), a Mashpiah (spiritual guide), and a Moreh (Teacher of Torah) with the title of Reverend.
