Rabbi Gideon Sylvester

Rabbi Gideon Sylvester serves as the British United Synagogue’s Israel Rabbi. Prior to that he was a congregational Rabbi in London, worked as an adviser to Rabbi Michael Melchior at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel and directed programs on Judaism and Human Rights. Rabbi Gideon is a frequent contributor to the English speaking media and is currently working on his doctorate in Conflict Resolution at Bar Ilan University.
