Fr. Prof. James Puglisi

James Puglisi, DOB 1946
Is a member of the Franciscan friars of the Atonement, currently resident of the Community´s main Friary, St. Paul´s Friary at Graymoor, Garrison, NY.
He is former director of the Community´s ecumenical center, the Centro Pro Unione, Rome, Italy
He is professor emeritus Ecclesiology, Sacraments and Ecumenism at the Pontifical Faculties of SantÁnsemo and Angelicum, Rome and Institute of Ecumenical Studies ¨San Bernardino¨, Venice, Italy.
He has been a member of several official dialogues between the Catholic Church and the Mennonites, the Seventh Day Adventists and the New Charismatic Churches. He has collaborated with the World Council of Churches´Faith and Order Commission.
